00s I LOVE UKG! My first introduction to it was through a compilation I stumbled upon at Music One in Manila called “This Is Speed Garage”. Speed Garage is a darker sub-genre of UKG with an emphasis on bass. This was in the late 90s when I started getting into DJing thanks to DJ heroes of mine Toti Dalmacion (Groovenation) and Manolet Dario (NBK) who championed house and trance respectively. Read more
